March 11, 2010 At the Oklahoma Space Industry Development Authority (OSIDA), we are striving to make our spaceport/airport as accessible and safe as possible. We are currently working on the following projects: New Visual Approach Slope Indicators (VASIs), Relocating and installilng a new Rotating Beacon, New LPV Approaches (Localizer Performance with Vertical Guidance) and we are now authorized to issue Terminal Forecast. November 10, 2009 OSIDA is proud to welcome First Wave MRO Inc.to the Oklahoma Spaceport! First Wave will be dismantling, refurbishing, cataloging and storing conponents from comercial aircraft for resale. www.firstwave.aero
June 1, 2007 Armadillo Aerospace to fly PIXIL the lunar lander at the Oklahoma Spaceport on June 2, 2007. Pictures to be posted at a later date on the Flight Activities page.
April 30, 2007 Oklahoma Spaceport licensing celebration is set for May 4th at 10:30 a.m. Guest speaker Patti Grace Smith, Associate Administrator for Commercial Space Transportation. The public is invited to attend.
